While Solar da Luz may be steeped in history, it's far from outdated. The restoration of this villa has preserved its historical character while creating a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere. The Portuguese designer Nini Andrade Silva was responsible for the project. All the rooms are decorated with finest furniture and objects from the craftsmanship such as Portuguese Boca do Lobo and Ferreira de Sá Rugs brands.
Distributed between the three floors, the 12 suites, all with en-suite bathrooms, are elegant and comfortable. On the first floor, the luxurious furnishings and accessories are a pleasant contrast to the strong character of the stone walls. On the second floor, both formal dining and living rooms remind us of Solar da Luz's palatial quality.
