Solar da Luz features two swimming pools, one outdoors and another indoors. During the spring and summer seasons, the round-shaped swimming pool, with umbrellas and cozy sunbeds, is an irresistible invitation to spend the day lying in the sun with a glass of wine. It is also the perfect occasion to enjoy a beautiful sunset with your loved ones in our villa. When the temperature is lower, you can also indulge yourself in the indoor heated pool located inside our private SPA.
A little chapel built in 1632 bears witness to Solar da Luz’s historical legacy. It is one of the many secret spots in the garden. Probably the oldest building on the property, it was entirely renovated by the family. While enjoying the beautiful garden, you can unveil other secret signs of Solar da Luz's past: tiny centuries-old fountains, intricate faces carved on the walls, and saints sculptures.
It is a comfortable place for organizing a barbecue or an outdoor feast, having some drinks with your family and friends, or enjoying the sunset in the pool area. It features a large table accommodating up to 16 people.
